Snorkel Diver
Price: $50.00 NZ
Learning to snorkel, or skin dive as it's also termed, is a great experience. You can dive around the Bay for peaceful pleasure or hunting. Skin diving is a popular course because it is inexpensive and individuals can improve with practice. Most ages can participate and you'll learn about the snorkeling equipment, the gear thats right for you and how to look after yourself. All about water pressures and all sorts of other tips to help you make skin diving one of your preferred hobbies.
There will be classes about the water conditions and how to approach them and you'll finish with a wide knowledge of the underwater enviroment and the marine life it contains.
There are 2 lessons in the Onekawa Pool for fun and practice.
Includes: Fun Day - 1 Open Water dive here in the Hawke's Bay.
Scuba Skill update Course
Open Water Qualified divers of all ages Price: $90.00 NZ
If you have had a break from diving for a while and feel like getting back into it, then now is the time to do a Scuba Skill Update. This short course includes classroom sessions to cover the more important elements in diving such as those dive table calculations, also some pool and open water diving to get you back up to scratch.
Junior Open Water Course
(Ages 12-14yrs) Price: $500.00 NZ
This is a great start for those young people who want to get into the water and have fun diving. It's a first step into the sport of diving. The course contents are the same as the Open Water Course, the only difference being the certification card will read "Junior Open Water" (Indicating that the diver started Scuba in this age bracket).
The only restriction in this course, is that you must dive with a person who is over the age of 18 years and who is a qualified Open Water Diver or higher.
When you reach 15 years old you can very simply change your certification straight over to the Open Water Dive license at no extra cost. Refer to the Open Water Course details below for further information.
Includes: Pool Sessions and open water dives. Books, certification with card and diploma.
Open Water Course
(Ages 15+yrs) Price: $500.00 NZ (Deposit of at least $150.00 is required)
Anyone who is interested in Scuba diving must have this certification to be able to dive legally and safely. This is the basis of your Scuba experience and it is where you learn the most important aspects of diving.
We recommend for your own comfort, that you seriously consider purchasing your own mask, snorkel and fin set so that you have gear that is suited to your own individual needs.
Talk to your instructor about which gear is the best for you and what specials we have running in the retail store.
By the end of the course you will be able to dive with a buddy anywhere in the world as our SSI Open Water Certification Card is internationally recognised.

Classroom Sessions: 4 Nights Theory Swimming Pool Sessions: 3 Pool Sessions Open Water Dives: 2 Shore and 2 Boat Dives Books: Included in course and are provided in the start up pack Certification: Card and Diploma are available upon completion. Room for 16 divers or 12 people fishing. Try one of our evening cruises and see the bright lights of Hawkes Bay by night while enjoying a BBQ supplied by the crew. Gannet cruises are available upon request, which allows you to view the gannets by sea without leaving the comfort of the boat and then cruise back via Marine Parade.

Charter Option 1:
½ day Fishing Charter From 6.00am till Midday That’s 6 hours of great fishing fun! This area covers the inshore Hawkes Bay area and includes such species asSnapper, Terakehi, Gurnard, Blue Cod, Kawhai, Trevally plus game fish such as Skip Jack Tuna, Albacore and Kingfish.
Charter Option 2:
Full day Fishing Charter From 6.00am till 5.00pm This area covers the greater Hawkes Bay area from Waikare river mouth down to Bare Island and for those big Grouper we can take you right out to the Lachlan Banks which is 2 ½ hours traveling time.The fishing species are the same as the ½ day charter with the inclusion of Grouper and game fish such as Tuna, Sharks and Marlin when in season. This trip is for the serious fisherman.
Charter Option 3:
Full day Diving and Fishing Charter From 6.00am till 5.00pm The Area covered can include most of the area of the full day charter with the exception of the Lauchlan banks. So you want to mix a bit of diving with your fishing, will we can cater for this.Dive the Hawkes Bay area in such locations as Pania Reef, Tangoio, Waipataki, Cape Kidnappers or maybe on the Boil at Bare Island, you make the choice or ask the skipper for advice.
